Day 170 – The Puzzle – Don’t Over Survey Your Customers

But the question is, HOW much feedback do you need?

This restaurant did it right this weekend. Okay, they started it right. They sent me an email asking for feedback instead of a Google review. This is the right thing to do because, as we’ve discussed, you don’t review until you know they’ll give your restaurant a 5-star review.

But, this casual dining restaurant sent me a 50+ question survey on my food, dining experience, online ordering experience, and even packaging. 

Ask yourself who in their right mind (outside of a marketer testing it) will answer that many questions.
