Setting goals is everything in entrepreneurship, but are your goals ambitious enough?
Being “realistic” can quietly kill your potential. 🚫
I’ve seen it firsthand. One of our employees in the past was once asked how much he wanted to increase his salary; rather than shooting high and being very motivated, he undershot himself. We had to part ways.
And the lesson here isn’t “set crazy goals or get fired.”
It’s this: Stay ambitious. The ceiling you set for yourself is the ceiling you’ll hit. So why set one at all?
Your goals should excite you AND scare you a little. That’s how you know they’re working.
