Stop Asking, ‘How Are You Doing?’

I hate when someone asks, “How are you doing?” the second I walk into a restaurant.
Three reasons:
1- Neither of us actually cares about the answer.
2- It does nothing to open a conversation that leads to a sale.
3- Sometimes you really won’t like what you hear.
It’s a tiny thing. But your restaurant is full of tiny things like this quietly costing you customers, and improving upon those small mistakes is what we do. Link in my bio.
